CLINIC UPDATE - CORONAVIRUS
CLINIC TEMPORARILY CLOSED
In light of the current serious situation regarding coronavirus we have taken the difficult decision to temporarily close the Foot Clinic. We will review the situation on a weekly basis. We are strongly advising all patients and especially those in the over 70 age group or "at risk" category to self-isolate and practice social distancing. We will continue to offer an emergency service for anyone in pain or those whose health may be adversely affected by not having podiatry treatment i.e. Those at risk of infection. If you wish further information please contact the clinic and the podiatrist will get back to you. We appreciate your cooperation at this difficult time. Philip Kenny
The situation in Northern Ireland is deteriorating quickly and we feel many people have yet to grasp to seriousness of the consequences if we do not change our behaviours.
It is up to everyone of us to practice social distancing. The more precautions we take now the more we can do to ease pressure on our NHS and decrease death rates.
If attending for an emergency appointment please practice social distancing when attending the clinic, use the hand washing facilities or hand sanitiser on entering and leaving the clinic and please do not attnd your appointment if you are exhibiting symptoms of a fever or new persistent cough.
We appreciate your cooperation over the coming months.
We are excited to announce that on the 24th May 2019 we officially took over management of Matthews Podiatry (Now Ballymena Foot Clinic) located in Woodsides Pharmacy in Ballymena's Church Street. It is a long established clinic with a team of five friendly podiatrists.
We have already begun making some improvements including now taking card payments and we are currently in the process of transitioning over to a computer based IT system, which will have many benefits for patients such as automatic appointment reminders.
